My Account

The My Account section allows you to manage your personal information, security settings, notification preferences, and monitor account activity.

Overview​

The My Account area is divided into several key sections:

  • Personal Information - Update your profile and account details
  • Email Notification - Configure how you receive notifications
  • Login Activity - View recent login history
  • Security Settings - Manage password and two-factor authentication
  • Coupon Code - Apply coupon codes to your account

These sections appear as navigation items in the left sidebar of the My Account interface.

Personal Information​

This section allows you to view and edit your basic account information:

Profile Details​

  • Display Name - Click to edit your display name
  • Username - View-only field (cannot be changed); can be copied to clipboard
  • Email - View-only field (cannot be changed)
  • Date of Birth - Click to edit your date of birth
  • Address - Click to edit your state and country information

When you complete your profile for the first time, you may earn bonus coins as a reward for account completion.

Profile Editing​

When you click on any editable field, a form opens allowing you to update multiple fields at once:

  • All fields must be completed to save changes
  • Country selection uses a dropdown with predefined country options

Email Notification​

Control how SonicBit communicates with you through email notifications:

Security Alerts​

  • New Browser Sign-in - Receive alerts when your account is accessed from a new browser
  • Failed Login Attempts - Get notified about multiple failed login attempts
  • Password Change - Receive notification when your password is changed
  • Security Settings - Get reminders to review security settings

News and Updates​

  • Sales and Promotions - Special offers and discounts
  • Latest Features - Updates about new features and product updates
  • Account Usage Tips - Recommendations to enhance your user experience

Each notification type has an individual toggle switch that saves your preference immediately when changed.

Login Activity​

Monitor your account access with detailed login history:

  • View your last 20 login activities in chronological order
  • See browser and device information (e.g., Chrome on Windows)
  • Check IP addresses with direct links to external IP lookup services
  • View login method icons (standard form, Google, or Facebook authentication)
  • Track date and time of each login

Security Settings​

Protect your account with enhanced security options:

Password Management​

  • Change your dashboard password through a secure form
  • View the date of your last password change
  • Password strength requirements include:
    • Minimum length
    • Numbers
    • Special characters
    • Matching confirmation

The system will notify you if:

  • A password change is required
  • Your password hasn't been updated recently

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)​

  • Enable/disable two-factor authentication with a single button
  • When enabled, you receive 6-digit codes via email during login
  • The interface clearly shows the current 2FA status (enabled/disabled)

Coupon Code​

Enter coupon codes to activate premium account access:

  • Enter valid coupon code to activate a premium account
  • Upgrade from free to premium tier through coupon redemption
  • Gain access to premium features with an approved coupon

The coupon redemption form validates the coupon code format before submission and displays appropriate success or error messages based on the redemption result.
