Logging into SonicBit
This guide explains how to log into your SonicBit account and troubleshoot common login issues.
Standard Login Process

Go to the SonicBit website and click the "Login" button in the top-right corner.

On the login page, enter your credentials:
- Email Address: The email you used during registration
- Password: Your account password

Click the "Sign In" button to proceed.

If your credentials are correct and you don't have two-factor authentication enabled, you'll be redirected to your dashboard.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
For added security, SonicBit uses two-factor authentication. If you have 2FA enabled on your account:

After entering your email and password, you'll be prompted for a verification code.

Check your email for a 6-digit verification code sent from SonicBit.

Enter the code in the verification form.
- The verification happens automatically once all 6 digits are entered.
- If you make a mistake, you can click the reset button (circular arrow icon) to clear the input.

Upon successful verification, you'll see a success animation and be redirected to your dashboard.
Social Login Options
SonicBit offers streamlined login through social media accounts:

On the login page, find the social login buttons (Google, Facebook).

Click your preferred login method.

Grant the requested permissions in the popup window.

If this is your first time using social login, you may need to complete additional verification steps.

After successful authentication, you'll be redirected to your dashboard.
Forgotten Password
If you can't remember your password:

On the login page, click the "Forgot Password?" link below the login form.

Enter the email address associated with your account.

Click "Send Reset Link" to request a password reset.

Check your email for a verification code.

Enter the code in the verification form that appears.

Create a new password that meets the security requirements:
- Minimum of 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
- At least one lowercase letter (a-z)
- At least one number (0-9)
- At least one special character (!@#$%^&*)

After setting a new password, you'll be able to log in with your new credentials.
Account Activation
If you haven't completed your account verification yet:

On the login page, click the "Activate your account" link below the login form.

Enter the email address you used during registration.

A verification code will be sent to your email.

Enter the code in the verification form.

After successful verification, your account will be activated and you can log in.
Troubleshooting Login Issues
Email or Password Not Recognized
- Double-check your email address for typos
- Ensure caps lock is turned off
- Verify you're using the correct password
- If you recently changed your password, make sure you're using the new one
Not Receiving the 2FA Verification Code
- Check your spam or junk folder
- Ensure your email address is entered correctly
- Wait a few minutes as email delivery may be delayed
- If problems persist, use the "Forgot Password" option to reset your access
Browser Issues
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Try using incognito/private browsing mode
- Update your browser to the latest version
- If one browser doesn't work, try another (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.)
Account Locked
If you've made too many unsuccessful login attempts, your account might be temporarily locked for security reasons. In this case:
- Wait for about 30 minutes before trying again
- Use the "Forgot Password" option to reset your password
- If problems persist, contact support at [email protected]
Security Best Practices

Never share your login credentials with anyone, including SonicBit support staff (they will never ask for your password)

Enable two-factor authentication for an additional layer of security

Use a unique, strong password that you don't use for other websites

Log out when using shared or public computers to prevent unauthorized access

Check for the secure connection symbol (padlock icon) in your browser's address bar when logging in
After Login
Once logged in, you'll have access to:
- Your SonicBit dashboard with storage usage information
- Remote download features
- File management tools
- Application hosting options
- Account settings and preferences
